Committee Night!

It’s a high priority of the Congregation Council to engage our membership more in the work of the church. To that end, we’re making a change to how committees work to encourage more participation from the congregation.

Starting on Monday, June 2, we will be holding “Committee Night” on the first Monday of each month. All committees of the congregation will meet at 5:15pm in the Fellowship Hall at the same time to plan the work of the church. Those committees are:

• Worship

• Property and Grounds

• Stewardship and Finance

• Youth and Family Ministry

We’d like to encourage anyone from the congregation who is interested in helping in one of these areas to attend that night and help us move the work of the church forward. Your input and participation are valued and encouraged! Pastor Ted and members of the Council will be on hand as part of this effort each month.

Because of this change, the Council has also decided to move its meetings to the third Monday of each month at 5:15pm.
