New HS Youth Group: Branches

I’m pleased to announce that we’re starting a new high school youth group which we’re calling Branches. The name comes from John 15:

[Jesus said,] “I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.”

Our purpose is to be intentionally focused on Scripture, Creed, and Confession to help students grow Deeper Roots and Abundant Fruit.

Each Wednesday evening from 7-8pm, we will gather at Our Savior’s to pray Compline (aka “Night Prayer”), take some time to study Scripture and then have some fun together.

Branches is a collaboration between Our Savior’s and Our Redeemer Lutheran Churches here in Jackson, but students of any church membership (or no membership) are welcome to join us.
