Fall Fun Day: Saturday, October 24

Saturday, October 24, 3:00pm to 9:00pm

Rain date: Sunday, October 25, 3:00pm to 9:00pm

We’re having a Fall Fun Day out at the Von Ohlen farm on Saturday, October 24, and any kid in the community is welcome, from the littlest ones up through high school. Bring your own kids, bring the neighbor’s kids, bring a friend from school.

We’ll have a big bonfire with a weenie roast and marshmallows to toast. There’s a big inflatable bounce house, and outdoor games all afternoon and into the dark. Cornhole, ladder toss, and plenty more for the kids.

They keep elk and other exotic animals out there, so walk the kids over and let them have a look.

This is also the kickoff for two new youth groups. Pathways is for junior high students, and Anchored is for high school students. Both are additions to what we already have. Confirmation class and the Branches youth group are both continuing as they are. There will be an information table at the farm, and we’re happy to answer your questions.

What to bring

• A jacket or a sweatshirt. It can be warm in the afternoon and cool once the sun goes down.
• Blankets.
• Folding camp chairs.

Rides

If your kid wants to come and you can’t get them out there, call Brynn Jordahl, our Youth and Family Ministries Director, at (507) 841-5429 and we’ll find them a seat. Several families are driving out and there’s room.

Pick your kids up at Our Savior’s at 9:15pm. We’ll be back from the farm by then, so please be here on time.
