Meet Brynn - Ice Cream Social

The Youth and Family Ministry committee invites you to an ice cream social at church on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00pm. It's a chance to grab a scoop, hang out, and meet Brynn Jordahl, our new Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries. We especially hope families with kids and youth will join us. No agenda, no pressure. Just ice cream and a chance to say hi.

Brynn grew up between Nebraska and Iowa, spending a lot of time helping on the family farm. She spent the last six years as Spirit Sprouts Minister at Spirit of Grace Lutheran Church in Holdrege, where she worked alongside Pastor Ted. She's also organized community events for the Holdrege Chamber of Commerce, so making people feel welcome is basically her thing. Her passion is helping kids, youth, and families grow in their faith. She's the second oldest of nine siblings (the only girl, with eight brothers she calls "her army"), and the person in Scripture she relates to most is Ruth, whose words "Where you go I will go" have followed her here to Our Savior's.

When she's not at church, Brynn is probably reading, writing, studying the Bible, watching football, playing sports, or spending time outside. She loves bonfires, fishing, four-wheeling, hammocks, dancing around the house to loud music, and four dogs who keep things interesting. We're glad to have her here and hope you'll come September 9 to give her a warm welcome. Bring the kids, bring your questions, and bring your appetite.
