Things are looking good for Confirmation Class 2025-2026 at Our Savior's! It looks like we will have 18 or 19 students enrolled in confirmation this year.
The biggest change this year is that I am offering TWO sections of confirmation this year. The purpose of this change is to allow me to invest more time in the Lighthouse program for younger children and to work on getting better youth ministry started for the older students. Students need only attend ONE class per week:
Wednesdays, 3:00-4:00pm (with office hours starting at 2:45)
Sundays, 6:00-7:00pm (with office hours starting at 5:45)
I've had several people ask whether they can switch sections. The answer is YES, as long as it doesn't cause disruption. This also means that if your child is sick for a Wednesday class, they can make it up on Sunday without losing their place. As always, there is a link to the curriculum on our website.
If class is cancelled due to weather on a Wednesday, it will also be cancelled for the following Sunday (so I can keep everyone together). Our standard inclement weather policies apply, so if school is cancelled or releases early on a Wednesday, we will cancel confirmation that day as well.
